Detective commander hired by parents of JonBenet Ramsey indicted in Colorado

Juan San Agustin, the law enforcement officer and private investigator once hired by the parents of JonBenet Ramey to investigate their daughter’s murder has been indicted in Colorado.

“A Grand Jury has indicted former El Paso County Sheriff Terry Maketa and former Undersheriff Paula Presley on several charges including extortion and kidnapping, according to a news release by the 18th Judicial District Attorney's office. Former Commander Juan San Agustin was also indicted on two charges,” reported KOAA, Colorado Springs.

In the past several months, San Agustin has been repeatedly mentioned in an onslaught of press releases holding him out as an authority on JonBenet’s murder; claiming a deceased man named Michael Helgoth murdered the child.
